I'm thinking the problem is in my engine, it started stalling everytime I got up any speed, i could only ride home at 20 mph well I got a new carburetor, new gas line, cleaned out the gas tank, all my gas in the tank was gone after that ride home, pulled my spark plug and it was corroded with light gray matter, like running lean. Then today I put gas back in the tank and it wouldn't come down in my gas line, until I took off the tank and turned on the shut off again and it came right out, like something magical at the carburetor stopped the gas flow. Anyone got a theory?

Garbage in the tank. Remove it and the petcock, clean out really well and let it dry

Yes thank you, I just removed the tank again, it has to be something still in it. I guess I didn't get it clean enough Before. What threw me was my battery died at the same time and the new carburetor didn't change a thing either. I already took the petcock off and put a shut off on there a while back. I just jumped the gun I guess. Thanks for any advice. I will let you know if it was just the gas or not.
