Okay so I've got a velocity 50cc mp50-01 o8' and it keeps dumping gas after a while of running, it wouldn't idle at first and won't run or idle without the idle mixture screw all the way in, or close to it. I can't put any kind of air filter or anything like that on the intake bc it chokes it out but I've tried adjusting idle air and mixture both and it won't run with anything on it, it's rough to start, I kick it, and it idles. But I replaced the pilot jet from a 30 to another 30 and it seems like my above to mid throttle is pushing too much gas and choking it out as where the old 30 didn't have this problem, just a slight hesitation, ive got an 85 main jet in now and it seems to run decent at top for a while but the jet i took out was a no name and seems to have lost a little on the top end, I tried an 87 and it was getting too much so I went back down. My question lies with what I can do about my mid throttle bc I can't seem to find a 28 pilot or a 29. And how do I get it to run steady with an air filter on it if it's already acting like its not getting enough air with idle mixture almost all the way in?

Is the bowl valve sticking? Floats not properly adjusted? Make sure that mechanism is all in good working condition first.

idle jet of 30 is a bit low ? can you try 33 ? also, the bowl must be parallel to the ground, not slanted. Reset also the pin of the needle at the middle position while you setting the carb. Does the fuel enricher work too ?

A lean condition from running with no filter or a modified stock filter will also cause the engine to bog.
Fuel will always spit out of the carb. It is just the nature of a single cylinder engine.

From what I understand the float is non adjustable and a buddy of mine had suggested the same, but the manifold that holds the carb is at an angle so I will try to level it, I'll try to set these up when I get home tonight and update, thank you for the tips!

Idle enricher does work, may be clogged a little bit it's got power to it, what do you mean by needle to the middle? The center needle in the top that has a clip or the idle mixture that sits on the lower left hand side?

yes the needle on the top, not the mixture
