Does a PWK even work (well) on a 2-stroke?. Seems like it’s missing some things. They are designed for 2t's haha! The ktm sx85 comes with a pwk 28mm from the factory. The honda cr500 comes with a pwk38mm from the factory and countless other 2t dirtbikes come with a pwk from the factory. Id say it is initally a 2t carb but there are some customized versions that can be used on 4t's with different atomizers and ofcourse that angled magnesium/red Yoshimura carb.

Does a PWK even work (well) on a 2-stroke?. Seems like it’s missing some things. it's arguably the best carb style available for a high rpm 2t motor. The other popular carb is the Dellorto, which seems to have better mpg and more "detailed" tuneability, but the big pwks are the fastest high rpm carbs imo. What it's "missing" is what makes so easy to tune. Everything is a direct circuit- much less confusion and mystery than a CV-style carb.

Also, lots of pwks have a vacuum port. Remember to cap it off if it does.

Awesome advice guys... just so I can keep the stock oil setup, I’ll run the hose from oil tank to intake 😎
