I bought a broke down falcon 7 50cc scooter I put a new carb, had to replace the clutch (bearing was blown) and the original belt was missing Not knowing much, I figured it was the same as on my taotao 50's It went on, but is too short. It sits half way down in the clutch pulley. as you can imagine it doesn't run well like that.
So a 669 is too short. I also have a eurostrada 50cc that has a 788 belt and it is much too long.
Normal google searches didn't show any good results for the falcon 7. Most just showed the 669 belt.
I found 2 in between sizes that could work, just hoping someone on here would know for sure or help me find out where to look. I figure it must take either a 743 or a 729
I see that the middle number on the 4 sizes is not the same either. The 669 and 742 are "20"x30 while the 729 and 788 are "17.7"x30. I assume the middle number is belt width and the last number is tooth angle?

so, I ended up buying both size belts.
The 729 is too short, would have to sit way down in the rear pulley to even go on the front The 743 will fit on, but rides a bit low on the rear (almost 1/4") and this means takeoff is slow and rpms dont get above 6500. It seems like the 743 is wider than the variator is meant to have. I tried adding shims to the boss which did raise rpms to 7000 but this required putting washers on the belt cover bolts to space the cover away from the case as the starter sprag would rub. So it seems like the variator is meant to have the thinner belt.
Is there a thinner (18-20) belt that is between a 729 and a 788?

I can add some numbers to the pile: 748-18-28 738-18-28 737-18-30 729-17.5-30 But I cannot either find ZNEN info. The vendor in FL that sells Wolf brand scooters may have the information you need. Wolf came from Gorilla Motor Works(GMW) brand due to trademark stuff, but the machines are ZNEN under the plastic & labels. I have one I just purchased that has two rear links/springs from the seat to the CVT. No clue as to parts/wear items. Is labeled "Globle Hawk" by ZNEN, and is 'on the shelf' or other Chinglish, though made in January 2018. ZN50QT-62 on one of the metal plates, but you won't find one after searching in USA. Ghost products? I did find an image of one for sale/sold in NC(?) that was branded 'Spark', FWIW. CVT case has 5 bolts on the bottom, and 4 bolts on the top. That should be a standard 'short case', but it has 12" wheels, which I thought required a 'long case'. Fooled me. tom
Added::
Pulled the CVT cover, and the belt inside was ANOTHER size. To wit: 723-17.5-28 That's the size for a 9-bolt short case with a 12" wheel and a second spring support on the right side instead of a single on the left. Not exactly the same, but a better design as far as keeping the torque load on the CVT case more even instead of loading the left side with supporting the 'seat weight' while the case must also transfer the 'support' load from the right-hand side tire which is holding things up. Talk about a twisted design.. All loads opposing and on opposite sides. Engineering fun, I suppose. tom
