I bought a set of main jets off of ebay and they arrived today. When I compared them to what’s currently in my carb they were 1mm shorter in length. I measured with calipers. Every other dimension was fine and they threaded in and fit just fine, but they will be sitting 1mm less deep into the main jet canal. Went for a 5 minute ride and everything seemed fine.
Will these harm anything? Am I okay running these until I can find a proper set, or forever, not at all?

Do you have the TK (Teikei) 14mm carb on there? If you ordered the 6mm dellorto jets you're fine! They are indeed shorter but work fine as a replacement for the lesser available TK jets.

Not sure which model carb it is, but I know it’s whatever came stock on a ‘99 Yamaha Jog. It has “3KJ” stamped on the side. Sounds like what you’re describing is my scenario though, so I think I’m fine. Than you sir
