Hey alls..
Working on a fresh build for a friend of mine.
72cc bbk, cam, head, and paper cone filter. Stock pipe for the moment.
Owner dropped a valve seat which is the reason for the build. Engine ran slightly lean and it over heated.
Since going through it, I've upped the jet from an 85 to a 90. Runs good... Starts good... Tops out around 45mph with stock gearing/rollers.
Problem in seeing is while on the stand.... Can run it up in speed at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle and when you snap to WOT, there is a very slight hesitation. I can't feel it on the street... But it's clear as day on the stand.
I just want to make sure it's dialed in before sending it back. Don't want him to burn down another engine.
Thoughts? Last plug read was decent but now the plug is stuck. That's another pickle to sort out. Wasn't cross threaded.. will turn out 3/4 turn and then stops solid. Don't want to force it and pull the threads out of the new head.
Anyways... About this bog. Ideas?
Thanks!

Try changing needle settings and see if it improves. Go rich first, moving the clip down on the needle. Also, CV carbs aren't famous for lightning fast throttle response.
