I have a 2002 bws 50 with a 70cc big bore kit an open foam filter and a yasuni z exhaust, I have some roller weights in the mail right now, but my question was that when I accelerate, when I hit 50kmh I can feel a slight power loss and when the engine warms up fully it doesn’t accelerate as hard as it does when it’s cold. Thanks

What carb do you have and what are the jets? With the BBK and Exhaust with a pod filter you do need to have a larger carb and main jet.

Stock carb and jets, sometimes it speeds up but it dies down a bit right after.

When it’s cold it takes off good but when it warms up after putting about 1/2 km of driving it starts doing it

+1 with pinkscoot, the auto enricher will help from cold then it cuts out when warm,up jet quickly or your new kit will get junked, sudden and catastrophic is the term I like.

May be your fuel flow is impinged, leading to a 'too lean' condition where there is not enough fuel in the mixture and lower power is developed. Also leads to overheating. How is the fuel filter and flow from the tank? That could change with time and proceed bit by bit, slowly choking the performance... so you don't notice. tom
