Is the brake light switch working? Most won't start of the brakes not applied

The starter button? I’m not sure if your bike will allow this to be done easily, but put a multimeter across the starter button leads and check for continuity when you press the start button.

It might be easier to check that power is going to the starter relay first. If not then try the switch like suggested.

Most have relay power coming to the relay when the key is turned to ON. The ground that makes the relay circuit complete, and energizes the relay to close the big contacts and energize the starter motor is supplied via the F & R brake lever switches and the starter button(last). Check for power to the relay(either side) when the key is ON. No power? Find where it breaks. Check for continuity, power/key OFF, from the relay to the brake switch, the starter switch... There isn't anything else. tom
