So I was invited to race a Derbi Senda this weekend and I want to ask you guys who would win. Senda is mostly stock (hopefully) appart from smaller rear sprocket. My setup is this:
Chinese scooter: CVT transmission Full 88cc kit with A9 cam 20mm carb with stock jets Open air filter Stock exhaust. Stock clutch Currently with 8 g rollers. Will change it to 7 or 6g for the race.
Derbi Senda: Manual 6 speed Smaller rear sprocket for higher speed Probably derestricted

Don't know yet, but it's probably gonna be 1/8 mile / 200m

I would probaly get a set of very light rollers, atleast lighter than 6 grams. Then maybe get a set of 1500 rpm or 2000 rpm clutch springs, for better take off.
I think a 1500 rpm torque spring would work great with that set-up, to keep it in low gear as long as possible. Again to assist the take off.
Any chance you can film the race?

You could losen the rear drum brake or maybe just check to see that its not dragging. Overfill the tires.

A bigger rear sprocket on the Senda will reduce top speed.

I'll try using 3 of 5g and 3 of 6g rollers (added up gonna be 5.5 g roller set). Because I lost one of the stock rollers which was 5g roller. 2. As I said I'm using fully stock clutch. And the stock clutch springs are about 1500 rpm. 3. As POV- no because I don't have a mount for a camera. But there will be people filming.

A bigger rear sprocket on the Senda will reduce top speed. Oh thanks for correcting me. He only said that he changed the sprocket for higher top speed and I'm not good with sprocket sizes.

I'd put my money on the Senda if it's totally derestricted. Good luck though, it will probably be close.

If it's like most races that I've ever been in that were setup in advance, you'll either show up and it will be a total turd or it'll turn out to be a 70cc high end race engine that makes 30HP... or the other person won't show up at all because it was just a lot of talk.
Could go either way if it's as advertised I'd think. Not all big bored 4Ts run the same and not all "stock" 2Ts run the same. They should be in the same ballpark though, so just have fun and be "safe" and post the vid if it happens.
