Hello, i have just bought a baccio 50cc 2 stroke for $200. I cleaned the carb and drained the old fuel, now it runs fine. I would like to do a big bore kit but i have never dived so deep into an engine before, should i do it? I know my way around a carb and most fuel system components but i have never done anything top end related. I plan on buying a Chinese big bore kit for money reasons, any suggestions on which one? Also would i have to mess around with jetting and fuel mixture or anything like that? Please excuse my lack of knowledge, any information helps!

I would steer clear of the cheap cylinder kits. You can find decent kits like a SSP, Stage6 street race, Malossi or Polini sport cylinders for reasonable prices. You do get what you pay for. Yes you will have to do some carb tuning. A pipe and CVT tuning would also be beneficial. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/20056/why-buy-ebay-70cc-bbk

I took a look at some of those kits and there actually not too bad, maybe ill just save a little more and get something nicer. What kind of sizing do you recommend? i do not want to go crazy but some more low end power would be nice. Any size suggestions?
