So I took my scooter to a local motorcycle shop to get the front tire valve stem replaced and also asked if they could check my brakes just for my peace of mind.
They were able to fix the valve stem no problem, but upon checking the brakes they somehow managed to break the master cylinder glass. Their attempts to fix it with a dime failed. So my scooter has been in the shop for about a month while I was hoping they could fix what they broke.
Anyway, I'm trying to find the correct replacement master cylinder for my model scooter. I've seen several online that look right in the pictures but as I do not have my scooter in my possession it's difficult to compare. Two models that I've seen that look identical are LV38 and LE-B0006.
The exact model of my scooter per Roketa's website is MC-46J which is similar to the MC-46Y. Unfortunately the scooter is listed as discontinued on Roketa's website so there's little chance of getting a replacement part directly from them for it.
I wonder if anyone can provide me an optimal solution so that I don't spend money and time waiting for a part that turns out to be incompatible.
I've asked the shop to send me details photos of the part so I could compare those to the parts I've seen online, but I guess that's too difficult for techs at the shop because I've never received the photos.
The shop said if I could get the part they would install it for free so now I'm trying to decide if I should just pick my scooter up and not deal with them anymore or try to get the part and have them install it.

They owe you a master cylinder, but if they're not going to pay voluntarily it would take a lawyer to get it.
Get your bike out of there as soon as possible.

A dime and JB weld putty would have had you back on the road the next day. I understand you wanting them to take care of it, but if it were me, I would cut my losses and fix it myself since it is such an easy fix. Most any master cylinder that looks close to yours should work. I suggest you get your scoot out of that shop ASAP, hope they dont try to charge you storage fee BS or something like that. I think I even have one of the replacement plastic glasses you need somewhere, I cant remember where I ordered it from. Measure yours and search feebay for something like this: www.ebay.com/p/2pcs-18mm-Motorcycle-Bike-Brake-Master-Cylinder-Reservoir-Sight-Glass-Len-Gasket/15027252601?iid=392248241861&chn=ps

It's funny and sad that you say it's an easy fix because they've tried to fix it with a dime and said the glue wasn't holding. The shop is closed the next two days so I'll have to wait until Tuesday to pick it up which is probably what I'm going to do. Even with them offering to install the replacement part free of charge, I'm not sure I would trust them to do it well.

Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction! I was able to get the sight glass and take it to the shop today. The guy was eager to get it installed and make sure everything worked. 30 minutes later I was able to ride my scooter out of the shop and bring her home!
Since that shop doesn't technically work on scooters and only agreed to do a valve stem repair, the guy who worked on it provided me with information about a company who can come to me to service my scooter when needed.
