Is it the Stage6 2 piece intake? Those are longer then a upgraded stock type. Your best bet would be the 360 deg intakes or a rear facing one.

LoL I know this situation. Had similar problems with mine but my frame was a bit smaller then yours. As Ryan said try one of those 360 intakes. You are more flexible in positioning the carb with those. Malossi, Polini and Top Performance has those I think.

Jig saw... metal blade. Half circle shape taken out the frame. About a 1/2” more in diameter around the carb for filter clearance and shock movement. There’s enough meat left on the webbing of the support. The bell of your carb is so close to the frame that getting type of filter seated will be difficult.

I looked at it again and theres a small tab on the carb thats hitting the frame. Gonna try to shave it down and see of that helps.

Ended up ordering a malossi 360 intake. Cut off the tab on the carb and it was still hitting. Another question. The 360 doesnt seem to have a nipple for a vacuum line. I have a 21mm pwk Stage6 carb. Where does the petcock vacuum line go?
