What are the stock carb and throttle cable setting on a baotian scooter? Long story short, scooter didnt run on high rpm, took the carb off, opened it, one jet was clogged, cleaned it, put it back on, now THE GOD DAMN THING WONT START Been scratching my head for two days now, cant get why it does not run. Im getting spark, already checked it, its just something with the fuel or fuel related. Throttle cable is set up so there's no slack in it, and it starts opening the carb as soon as you turn the accelerator handle. Tried playing with the low speed and idle speed screws, but still the same, or maybe im doing something wrong. Before, the scooter started with no problem, but after cleaning the jet, it kinda wants to start, i can hear slight combustion sometimes, and a tiny bit of smoke, but thats about it. ALl i want to do is ride it Also, can go out, take some pictures and put them here if it helps.

oops! Don't feel bad. My bad, when installing a new carb was attaching the fuel line to the drain port. But then, this was my first scoot and only hours old. I've learned a "bunch" from the "smarty pants" on this forum.

Do yourselves a favor and find a service manual for a scoot similar to yours in the manuals section and read it some to see what is in it. Then follow the diagrams and troubleshooting instructions it has. It will save you huge amounts of time and start your scoot education off right.
BTW, use an ANALOG voltmeter to do your voltage checks during troubleshooting. The digital meters do not provide consistent readings unless you are an expert and understand what you are looking at.
