Hey there, I own a 2001 Hyosung Sense 2t. I have gotten it running, but cant seem to fix this bogging issue. After about 1/4 throttle it starts to bog, anything more then that cuts out. Fuel system is clean (tank, hoses and carb) Air box is modded, works better with more air Vaccuum seems fine, added a gasket from intake to carb, made sure intake was screwed down tight etc. Always fuel in the line. Here is a short Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xg6XNTIggtkHere are some pics:

"air box is modded. works better with more air"...Really?
that's the whole reason you got that Bog after 1/4 throttle.
...works better with more air... ...with proper jetting for sure.

Simply an observation. Wasn't the one who drilled the holes, also tried covering them with no results. Thanks for being helpful! -_-

Has this scooter run ok before? Or did you get it with this problem?

I will assume that the picture of the cooling shroud off is for us to see. If not don't run it long without the piece missing from the stator side or you will overheat and seize your engine.

Has been like this since I got the bike running. Wouldn't start when I got it. I'm thinking of replacing the carb entirely, for the money it's well worth not having a question mark carb with unknown jets.
My issue there is A, almost every dellorto or equivalent carb seems to not have the proper connection to the intake. B, if I'm going a better carb, cable choke? If so I'm new to how that would operate.

I saw somewhere where a guy cut the flange off and used an intake boot. He dremeled a groove in the intake to hold the boot better. While he was there he opened it up to 19mm.
