I’ve tried to research this. If I install an OverRange Variator on a 93 Yamaha jog and I take out the electric start clutch, how will I start it? This jog didn’t come with a kickstart and I’ll be installing one soon. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

If you install an OR kit you will need a kick starter. But it's odd that your Jog doesn't have one. Every 50cc scooter I've owned came with one. Installing one shouldn't be much if an issue all you need is the proper side cover along with gear. Try cheapcycleparts.com under starter for price and pictures.

Thank you, sir. I kinda assumed that. That’s the next move on my parts list.

I used to love the e-start, but I rarely ever miss it. I'd much rather have the OR than the e-start on mine. The only time I really don't like a kick start is if it dies in traffic and if I'm having a problem and it won't start. Day to day, it's not bad. Kick starts can be "fun" to service till you figure 'em out, so here's some help if you need it : www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ7jxWexjZY
