I've had the GT-5 for almost five years. I've rebuilt the top end probably 15 times because I lived on a farm. I've had 39mm to 50mm kits installed. All different size carbs and jets, different cams, light kits etc.
I think the crank may have finally worn out. The bearings I guess. There is only 1mm of play side to side but when it last ran I heard grinding and research suggests the crank bearings are bad.
I've already disassembled most of the engine. I don't know anything about installing a crank besides watching Brent on youtube. Does the crank itself need to be replaced? Just the bearings? It's a P QMB and I've read the P is like a stroker. IDK the legitimacy of that.
I know I do not want to replace a better old part with an inferior new part. If only the bearings need to be replaced does anyone know which ones I should purchase?
Money is a concern as I no longer have any lol. I would split the case and put all new bearings, seals etc if there was a kit.
