So I bought this 150 new from killermotorsports.com. since I have owned it I have had to tighten down bolts change oil and gear lube. I recently changed the gear lube because I now have 2700Km on this bike. I didn't change gear lube till recently because I started hearing a chatter. Chatter is gone after gear lube change. Now what I hear is this Quacking sound. I only hear it when im riding and if there are a lot of bumps. I have yet to narrow it down. It doesn't affect the performance because I can go 60MPH and maintain that with no problems what so ever. let me know what you may think it is. Everything is still stock. I got this NEW the end of feb.

Well, if walks and talks like a duck.. Anyway, Does it seem to come from front, center, or back? Does engine speed make any difference? First thought is plastics rubbing together.

plastics are all tight. Sounds like its coming from the front. only hear it when bike is moving. I never hear it when its at idle and I give it throttle when parked. only thing that wasn't connected was the left rear panel but I fixed it with zip ties. I still hear a little clatter from the gears but that's to be expected since I ran it with no gear lube. Today when I left work it sounded like it was coming from the front wheel area. Maybe a bearing?

Does the speed change the pitch? If so, it's related to wheel speed: rock stuck in disc pad, no lube in speedo drive? Neer hurts to check wheel bearings. If it's only on bumps, check fork oil. It's best (PDI) to change the fish oil to real fork oil anyway.

how do you go by changing the fork oil and what is recommended for fork oil? Ive only just started getting into scooters the last 2 years. This past year was the first time I really had to take time to work on them. This is my first 150. I will definitely check the speedo drive for grease. Is synth oil better than conventional? I only use Castrol GTX 20w50 because im not putting rotella 15w40 in it. lol.

Try lubing your shocks. I had a similar problem on mine coming from the rear. I couldn't replicate it while still, but it squeaked every time I rode it. Wash the shocks, front and back, then spray on a dry teflon lube. Make sure to not get any on your disc brake.

I'll add to his suggestion all rubber bushings like shock, swingarm pivots and so forth.
