I have a 2015 Metropolitan. When I turn the key to on, the engine light comes on but the sound of ( ? fuel pump ) does not occur and the scoot won't start. All of the lights and horn works but I noticed that the fuel gauge does not work. The tank is full. Any ideas?

Did you check the fuses? Also check the connector at the fuel pump, it looks like the fuel level sender and the fuel pump are on the same connector. I have no idea where that connector is I was just looking at the wiring diagram on Google images.

Fuses are fine as is the black relay next to the fuse box. I will try to follow the wires from the sender. Thank you.

An electric fuel pump would be expected to make some noise. A silent pump may be a failed pump. You could jumper the 'load' connections in the relay socket if the relay controls fuel pump power and see if the pump than works. If it remains silent even when jumpered, I suspect it may have failed. I don't know beans about Metropolitans.. If you are in USA, and want to get rid of it ... I did watch when they first came out and was impressed positively. tom
