Hello this is my first post im only 20 and not a handyman so i will do my best to explain.I bought a 98' mbk bws 50cc(2st) for my commute to school and work. the first problem was oil leaking under the oil reservoir sensor because i overfilled the tank.second time the gravity feed engine oil hose snapped out of the valve fitting and i tried to secure it with a cable tie. now even though the hose is secured from the tank to the valve behind the air intake oil is still splasing all over the carburetor and spark plug cover from around that area. what could be? badly fitted gasket or faulty valve maybe something where the piston creates to much pressure and sends the oil back or a crack somewhere..and advice is welcomed. sry for bad eng ibb.co/Qmchfbkibb.co/hC8jPWjibb.co/nrM0Qbqibb.co/sv2SHVbibb.co/G3W0nQtibb.co/9Hd7k3xibb.co/q01twhqibb.co/9vssXfr

That's a lot of oil. It could be where it was over filled. The best thing to do is clean it all off. Then you might get an idea where it's coming from. If it's still leaking.

As said above give it a good clean, check the fittings are tight from the photos I say your pipes are too large, cable ties don't,t work well in such small diameters you need some tiny round clips, try your local scoot shop or hardware store/car parts stockist,it,s hard to get the size right mail order.

I have a question for both of you youngsters above. Do you add additional oil to the fuel tank for "Extra Protection"? If you are, consider stopping that. It may not be the cause, but could be. Here we see that practice daily, especially when old folks, who are teaching young ones bad practices. They too have oil everywhere. The ones with pod filters coat everything from blow-back. Bad reed valves do not help. Look inside your air-box...Oily? As mentioned by those above...this your your opportunity to learn from cleaning. Clean everything! Remove the pipe and clean this inside. Likely not in great shape.
Oh, nearly forgot. Consider getting rid of the oil reservoir/pump system and switching to "pre-mix". It will run more consistent and be less prone to connection failures. Pre-mixing in the fuel tank by itself is good, as the oil pumps do not deliver consistently. Doing both, does not work well.

If you think the oil line is not connected. Don't run the scooter. It will destroy the cylinder, at least. There is a tank smaller than the fuel tank. It will have a rubber stopper on. It's normally located near the fuel tank. Follow the pipe from this. It should be connected to a small brass connector on the carb.
