Hi guys got a 1e40qmb minarelli type scoot with 70cc stage6 pro cylinder. Question is, can i put a reeed valve on it to improve throttle response? It didn't come with a reed valve in the first place so was wondering would this upgrade be worth a try?thanks much

It had to have a reed valve originally, all Minarelli scooters come with them.

The reed valve is between the carb, and cylinder. Fitting a better quality one will improve response.

It's just weird it didn't come with the reed when i bought this scoot. It usually lies in bwtween the cylinder and the intake manifold on top of it right? And does it need to have a gasket by yh way to seal? I will buy one and see if it makes a much better throttle response on take off. Thanks

Between the cylinder and reed valve cage. The carb intake is rubberized, so makes its own seal.
