Need recommendation on what I should do?

No need to give up scooternub. The principles of 2T tuning are not hard...but different than most of your "expert" friends or super-non expert peeps from general forums.

If you study the basics...all available on this site. You will begin to grow. Small LED at first then bam! Full on sun shot! OKAY...not that fast, but I wasn't kidding. Good knowledge and great people here to help you.

My suggestion is start with simple diagnosis. Not what 'ya think, what do you know about the engine...make a list and post it here...making a list will also form questions for yourself and others to ponder..

and...make small changes when attempting to tune...one thing at a time. Otherwise you will never know what went well and what hurt you.

190mech I really sympathize with you on recommending a brand new carb. But these PZ19j 2T carbs are complete hassle (for me anyways) I have had everything from constant stuck floatbowls to the E-choke failing and gaskets at the throttle spring breaking. For another $35 I believe something like a Dellorto 17.5 with optional E-choke or Polini CP would be a great choice. I still have this 19mm carb on my 1e40qmb but it’s departing very soon.

Looked to be an awesome option for the d 17.5 e-choke $180 there is no way i could afford that.

The polini cp 17.5 seems non existent and pull choke.
