I'm riding a 2000 E-Ton Beamer 49cc. I upgraded the carb, air intake,CDI box, coil and spark plug. Right now I'm getting 40mph and wondering if up jet to a 90 main jet would this make much of a difference? I believe my jet is a 75. I put a new hp cdi box, new carb,hp coil, spark plug and K&N air filer.
Any thoughts welcome.

Except for the open filter you haven't done anything that would need much of a bump in the jet size, 90 might be a little too much. What is your cylinder head temperature? How does your plug look?

I would get a jet kit and then do a series of test runs and record the data to figure out which jetting worked best for my scoot. I'd also switch back to the stock airbox so the tune stayed more consistent. www.49ccscoot.com/faq/carbtune.html
