Hi guys. I have a question with spark plugs.I have a 70cc stage6 cast iron cylinder on my scoot and I'm using a bpr7hs plug. Regardless of the weather cold/warm temp, I was just wondering if this is the right plug I'm using. Should i go to 8 or 9? Cast iron cylinders get pretty hot right? Appreciate any help. Thanks

What exhaust and carb size are you using?

Tell us more about your engine. How about plug insulator color? Any pics?

I am just using stock mikuni carb for minarelli 1e40qmb engine. Last plug chop was looking on the richer side and a bit wet. I've got tecnigas exhaust on it. Weather here in New Zealand is always on the chilly side and now it's winter gets colder in the morning.

If your plugs looks rich, don't go colder or it might foul. Colder temps carry more oxygen, so take a reading with the cold air and evaluate.
