Having the worst thursday ever . Apparently my stator is shot, cause my battery drained to 8V. Upon trying to kickstart the scooter the kickstart level slipped (probably got loose from the vibration) and spun in place. Now i need a new stator and a new kickstart shaft. My question is, is there aby way to know what stator ( 6 or 8 coil ) does my scooter use, as well as what number of teeth does the idle gear have without having to disassemble the scooter? The scooter in question is a Baotian Rebel 49 Bt49QT-12

Oh, i see. Still learning about it, its my first scoot Just immediately thought that its the stator, but yeah, will check the regulator. Glad i saw this, it probably saved me a lot of unneccessary work Will go and check it in a moment, will let you know how it goes in a few hours.

Just checked the battery voltage, and it does go up to around 13 volts when i turn the accelerator, that means the stator is working. . Now i only need to get a new kickstart and starter switch cause the the starter stopped working, but bridging the starter solenoid terminals with a screwdriver does make the starter spin.

Just tested my voltage regulator. In the guide that pinkscoot linked, it said that the lower readings should be 0,4-0,6V and the highest 0,7-1.0V. My voltage regulator shows 1,5V and 2,8V respectively. I assume that means the regulator is dead?
