Ok so I have a 2015 49cc scooter that I picked up and cant seem to get it running. I have fuel and air, but no spark. I've replaced the CDI, coil/wire, key switch, and spark plug. I've noticed that the #4 pin on the CDI is grounded at all times so I originally thought it was the kill switch(es) after unplugging all of them, still grounded. Is this normal? Any grounding spots in particular to check? I'm totally stumped. Thanks

Check your Kill switch circuit as well.

Pretty sure there is a step-by-step ignition checkout post on site.
I'd check the AC produced by the stator which provides the juice to 'run' an AC CDI. If you have a DC operated CDI, you need to have battery power available or it will never run(to my knowledge). Check battery for voltage, and the CDI B+ terminal with the key ON. If no volts... fix that or you'll waste time. If you have no AC input from the stator when cranked or kicked, the CDI won't work. Could be the leads from the stator, or the stator windings, in general. tom
