I have had this Scooter apart, cleaned and reassembled. Replaced, fuel, fuel petcock, E-choke, gas cap, battery, new plug and new ignition. I have had the carb off at least a dozen times mostly just making sure it was clean all the way through. The only line I have not replaced is a thin secondary line that runs from the bottom of the fuel petcock to the engine side of the carb intake manifold side. Evap line or something i was told.
I can usually get the Scoot to fire up no problem. Ive spent more time adjusting the carb, kind of feel like I am chasing my tail. Ive had two very different successful runs. Carb at stock setting two full turns out. Scoot runs like dream. Good response through all range of throttle especially WOT. Then dies and wont start. Good run 2. Carb air mixture screw a full four turns out. Scooter needs a bit of throttle to start, but then runs good. Dies after 10 minutes or so.
Every time I get this facker to go. It will go and and it will go strong. Then every time the same thing happens. It dies. No amount of feathering the throttle will do anything. It dies completely and will not start again.
Oh, as prompted from here. I also put the appropriate gaskets and or sealer between the spacer between the carb and the intake manifold. AND on the exhaust gasket as well.
Any thoughts or comments appreciated in advance.
If it dont go soon. Im selling it and riding the Spyder full time.
UPDATE" It was a clogged oil line. my buddy noticed it was stiff AF, massaged it and got the oil flowing again. Guess it was turning off before it overheated.

The line you haven't replaced is the vacuum line that opens and closes the petcock so that you get flow. If it's the original it's time to replace it. The screw that you are adjusting is for Idle only and doesn't have much affect to performance over 2500rpm. It sounds like either a fuel issue or maybe electrical and something fails when it gets hot. How long after it dies does it take too start again? What is the engine temperature? Start by replacing that hose or go with a manual valve and eliminate the petcock.
