Hello. Just to make sure, you can run the headlight directly of the yellow wire coming from the stator right?

Its 139qmb mix-matched scooter. i tried hooking up the headlight directly to the yellow wire coming from the stator..
It worked fine the first few miles then it blew.. Tried replacing the bulb and the same thing happend.
should there be anything between the stator and the headlight other than a switch? You know, to regulate that shit.

as you found out, you indeed can run a light directly from the stator.. The part you are missing is voltage regulation. Voltage regulation would keep the AC to around 13v AC and your bulb would live..
If you do not have one, get a scooter voltage regulator to keep the AC where it belongs and if you have a battery in there to keep charged, it will keep the DC side to around 13.2 - 13.8 DC and your battery will be happy..
Even if you do not have a battery, the regulator will keep the AC where it belongs.
