i just got a new 21mm walbro Wk-67a for my 66cc pk80 bike engine. I have a couple issues with 24ishmm wb walbro that is on it now. Well I thought I’d try it on my chopper spree first...lol. I made a plate to bolt the carb to my ct/dio intake. Then I had to figure out how to connect the throttle cable. After a couple beers and a joint later, tada: it runs great. Tuned it in 5 minutes. It’s nice turning a screw instead of having to drop the bowl and change a jet. I tapped a fitting below the reed block for the walbro fuel pump. It needs negative and positive pulses to work properly. I got more rpm over the old carb that was previously on it. Motor is a 87 Af05e with a metrakit 47mm big bore. It starts first kick and so far I think I’m gettimg better gas mileage. Not running an air filter at the moment and had no problems tuning it or any lean conditions.

yeah the chopper spree has the metrakit on it. with the stock carb jetted and the 87 gears gy6 rear pulley(118mm) and a keli var. with 5.0g rollers red contra and a 3.0-10 tire ive hit 52 on flats while i was still tuning. but right now all this is on one of my jdm af05s. I forgot I stripped the variator bolt on that 87 af05 a couple months ago. the chopper spree doesn't have a tach either. only the 2 aeros have tach/ CHT gauges. I need to order a couple more and keep forgetting. guess ill do that today... ive been looking for a performance crank to put the 87 back together, finally think i found one. we shall see. with the keli variator this lite scooter leaves hard. need to swap the tire from a 3.0 to a 90/90 or something. it pulls power wheelies from a dead stop without trying. i have red springs on the clutch and the arms have been lightened with a drill. she jumps with a twist of the throttle. even more now with this new carb. rpm is instant
