Hi I have a Yamaha jog which I have changed the exhaust and took the snorkel off air box and changed jet size a tiny bit. And now when on full throttle it seems to make a pinking sound and won’t get to top speed. Any idea what I’ve done wrong thanks.

As a guess you might need to go bigger on the main jet.

How much is a tiny bit? When I opened up the air box on my 2 stroke, I went up 10% as a starting point and I'm not running rich yet. Better to foul out a plug running rich then destroy your motor running lean.

Did you try putting the snorkel back in and see what happens. That should make it run richer if you are running lean.

Put tape over part of the hole.

Try different jets and see what happens. Do some tuning passes and record data with each to find out what jet works best.
