Hi all I have adjustable clutch and assortment of spring rates, every thing I see and read about it everyone seems to say set springs to power band, my problem is if I did that I would be on back wheel 98% of the time, I'm only running 1000 springs at moment but my bike has no problem getting off the line at low revs its nicer to ride putting around in traffic, was even thinking of going around 600-800 setting, what's your thoughts on the matter

Hmmmm, maybe if you are drag racing you would want clutch springs set to the power band...

A lot of times it’s personal preference, it also depends on your pipe. I prefer a clutch to engage when I’m on or just before the pipe makes power. Some pipe/cyl combos make power lower in the rpm so you can get away with a lower clutch setting. Trial and error.
