Stage6 recommendations for a spark plug is a ngk in the 9 heat range from what I found. I found a BR9HS in town so that’s what I’ll use for now. Any longer lasting iridium options? All I could find was the extended threaded version 3/4” vs 1/2” length in ngk iridium.

Stage 6 recommends a 9 on the racing bore. They recommend an 8 on their sport pro and cast bores. I use a br9hix on my 70 racing. That’s the one you’ll want if you go iridium. Be sure you’ve fully tuned your carb and get your oil ratio set in stone before you put in one of the iridiums, they foul easier the regular “hs” and cost much more.

www.psntuning.co.uk/scooter_parts.php?prt_id=3690www.pedparts.co.uk/product/1422/stage6-sport-pro-mkii-cylinder-kit-aeroxthese places are listing as you should use the br9es longer plug and i went through the stage6 site and one of the links on there sent me to a recommendation for the es longer thread plug and it has me wondering. i may get a new one of each tomorrow and see if it makes contact as ive been using the br9hs plug for years with these things. it used to state to use that plug but now its pointing towards the longer one and some engine kits that come with a bunch of parts come with the longer plug supposedly. im going to have to see if it makes contact or not because im sure if it doesnt im missing out on some power. im gonna spin the motor over by hand before i try to start it as i dont need a hole in my piston or a bent rod if that things even possible to bend its pretty sturdy. i wonder why so many sites are claiming the longer plug now.
