I want to get rid of the one two shift, it's dropping me out of my power band. I'm looking for a Minarelli 2 stroke straight groove torque driver. What do I need to look for to make sure it will fit my scooter? Also it seems the price of the part runs in the $100.00 range, would I be better off getting an over range pulley? I don't care about the top speed I want the low end torque.

possible replacement option www.partsforscooters.com/169-383-Hoca-Adjustable-Drive-Sheave-Minarellimeasure like this picture and the outside diameter and compare to the specs here . You could also give them a call to verify and see if they have better options A second option . How I fixed that weird shift was just ran a little lighter weights and stiffer clutch springs and powered through it a takeoff on my stock zuma and vinos they all come through with that 2 angle torque driver slot that shifts around 10 mph. I did buy a aftermarket with a straight torque driver it shifts marginally better for the zuma than stock .

I tried a 1500 rpm contra and the two speed shift was a lot better but the high RPM cruising around town was to much. Felt like a manual transmission shifting to late. Went to a 1000 RPM, slowed by 0-35MPH times down by about a second but didn't run at to have of an RPM either. I tried 4 gram sliders, just seemed to light and the motor wanted to rev to high all the time.

Looking back at my upgrade notes Going to the Tecnigas Next R with its higher power band did magnify the ugly shift . That is the way my Zuma is set up right now .
With the street pipes like Malossi wild lion they develop torque at Low rpm so they just power through it
Both Vinos are set up with stock torque drivers and I dont even notice the shift compare to the zumas current set up.
I went to medium clutch springs on the vino and dropped weights a 1/2 gram stock contra and that mellowed them right out .
