I pulled the plug on my recent build (‘05 Zuma, Stage 6 MKii Racing 70) and noticed heavy carbon wash on the flat top piston. It’s to the point where it’s like a solid hardened black paint drip. I’m using a BR9HIX, squish is .65, and running 32:1 Maxima castor 927 with Sunoco 93 (haven’t tried their race 110 at $67 for 5 gallons yet). Is their any suggestions which I can do to help eliminate this or is it normal? I’ve noticed this right after break-in, the whole new set-up crank and bore have about 250 miles on it. I’d like to get as much as I can right before it gets to cold to ride and have to park/store her away for a few months. Sorry I forgot about pics.

I'm thinking to much oil. I usually run 50:1 on sport cylinders. You could try 40:1

32:1 is way to rich. I'm at 50:1 to 60:1. The castor based oil makes it even worse. If Maxima is your brand, then try their formula K2. It's ester based. Motul Scooter Power 2T is one good oil too. If you can get these in the US
Why are you guys running 32:1 with such good oils you using?
