Hello.
Does anybody in here know where I can find a set of 13" wheels that fit a 139qmb ? Or know if some of the 2 stroke scooters wheels are interchangeable with a 139qmb?
Cheers Mag.

13" wheels will probably require an extra-long-case 139QMB . . somewhat rare in the USA.

FYI 139QMB and 157QMJ engines have wheels with different offsets... if you didn't know already. A GY6 13" will sit off-center from the QMB engine.
Not happy with 12's?

Uhm okay.
I just thought it might be cheaper than upgrading the gears, but I guess not. Mine came stock with 12" wheels.
Too bad then.

Write down your rear tire size. A taller tire will give you higher speed. The Calculators box on the left of this sites' screen has a tire diameter calculator.

That's what I did back in the day to get my speed run (fastest 82cc 4t!!) and I'll be getting another taller rear tire for an even FASTER speed run. Gotta get into the 60's category hehe

Basicly yes. It has to clear what is in front of it. Tires also have a recommended rim width range, don't exceed the limits (or not by much). But (damn goats) the devil is in the details. The speed and weight rating should be equal or greater than stock, or at least note that exceeding the speed rating can cause a blowout. Weight: If your scoot is built for 2 the stock tire weight rating should reflect that; so if you Never carry a passenger a slightly smaller weight rating should keep you vertical. This probably applies more to much higher speeds, but be aware of it. There are easy charts laying out the numbers, print them out and keep in your permanent ref. file. Both Tire Rack and DOT have them on line.
