Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. This one looked like the best match for my question.
Spent the weekend using my roller tuning kit to tune my variator (Polini) in my '18 Ruckus. Turns out the sweet spot for me and where I ride is 6g. Now that I know the right roller weight, am thinking about trying out sliders. From what I've read online, seems most suggest using roller weight + 1g when switching to sliders. Is that still true? Or do I need to buy multiple sets of sliders (maybe 7g and 6g so I can do 6, 6.5, and 7)?

Probably best to buy multiple sets.
If you need heavier than you have there are ways of making weights weigh a little more. Ive used the tin foil method myself.

I found a half gram higher on sliders provided the same rpms on my tach so 6 gram rollers = 6.5 gram sliders

Personally, I use Dr. Pulley sliders and have always used the same weight sliders as I used with rollers and had great results. Seemed to behave exactly the same for me.
