Just purchased a 2008 Chinese scooter 150 runs well but noticed after riding a while at top speed, there is either engine oil or rear end lube on top of cvt cover, can't find where it is coming from, low mileage bike 2800 miles, any suggestions ?

Make sure your vent tube on your rear end is not kinked or clogged . Your rear end could have been over filled from factory or it could be just a lose rear end drain plug .

It also could be overflow from the fuel tank , My zuma has a vent tube that drips on the cvt if I dont connect it right.

It's probably the crankcase breather hose that usually vents to the air box. There is probably a hose or a nipple to a hose on the bottom of you air box that it's coming from.
