Got a 2003 Honda Ruckus about 3 months ago. Got valves adjusted and a new battery right when I bought it and it ran fine. About a week ago I was riding it and it suddenly went down hard on power and could only limp to about 3mph. I stopped turned it off, turned it back on and it ran fine for about a block then did the same thing. Put in new air filter and made sure it was still getting spark, but now it will only start cold on starter fluid and rides super rough to about a max of 4 mph although it idles fine.. Do I need a carb clean? Or is it something more serious?

I think a carb clean would be a good place to start. Could be gummed up or even just a small particle of something in it. Might want to think about replacing the fuel filter as well.
Does it still idle fine?

GET has limp mode. Check coolant level, then maybe unplug temp sensor and run it.
