what is the bare minimum evap and pare system you can run with? I have both a stock 139 qmb long and short case. the systems we set up differently. the short case have the metal tube on the outside. the long case just a flat head. if it makes ant difference the long turns 13s. help please. I made a stupid and I can't get up

I don't think you need either system to run. The evap system must at least allow air into the fuel tank to replace the fuel that is used, otherwise it would stop fuel flow as the tank built a slight vacuum. The PAIR system just pumps fresh air into the exhaust port to dilute the outgoing spent exhaust gases. If you don't have a PAIR(Pulse Air Injection ...) the exhaust gas may have a higher level of HCx. So, keep the fuel tank vented, and the PAIR intact or plated over. You will also need to arrange a crankcase vent of some sort. The tube/vent at the 'top' of the rocker arm/cam cover should be routed to a long tube that will allow the pressure pulses in the crankcase to exhaust without dragging oil along with the gas. A long tube allows any oil/mist that is moved by the pulses to need a LONG climb to escape and drool on your engine/bike/etc. The pulses only go so far and then sort of peter out. Oil may move up the tube, but should fall back as it can't climb high enough, more or less. The carb float bowl generally has a rubber tube with a right angle bend towards ground that provides vent to allow the fuel level to vary without pressure problems, so you should find that also, and make sure it is not plugged. tom

If you want emissions crap, let me know. I have a box of it I was going to toss in the trash. Air boxes too.
