The manual says torque the head bolts to 10 ft/lbs but I went to 15. It felt okay while using the torque wrench. Any ideas?
TIA, kevin

I torque mine to 150 inch pounds which is 12.5 ft lbs. Over 20k miles. You should be fine.

If you search enough you can find multiple torque values for the fasteners. I think you will be fine. If desired, you could loosen all four, and then retorque to a value you like. I think I overtorqued the first one I did but it seemed to be okay after. If you do re-torque, do not disturb the head or cylinder as a leaking gasket is a possibility. tom

You might also check torque on the exhaust to cylinder bolts after each of the first two or three heat cycles.
