why does the upper piston ring of my SYM dd50 is always broken. i bet it's not lean because i set it to nearly rich and the plug reading is near to rich. it had just broke 3 rings. please help me. thanks in advance

pictur please and look in your sleeve for abnormal wear or scuffs maybe its hanging up on a port or maybe your getting wrong rings. maybe its a 39mm piston or 40mm piston either way mixing the rings up will result in thus

What is the situation with your cylinder? New? Used?

pictur please and look in your sleeve for abnormal wear or scuffs maybe its hanging up on a port or maybe your getting wrong rings. maybe its a 39mm piston or 40mm piston either way mixing the rings up will result in thus Agree, check to make sure your piston/cylinder is apples to apples, look for wear inside it (unusual gashes etc) if its just the top ring I would think there may be a clearance issue. take the head off and move the crank by hand until your piston top comes to the end of the cylinder
