So i read on many places that this exhaust is prone to rusting, it's started to rain for a week here and I thought... since the exhaust is still new and good, how do I prevent it from rusting?
Some people said ceramic coating?
Any advice?

I've had my zx 5 years never done a thing to it. It's got a rust bluing appearance on the head pipe and front cone but it's not nasty looking by any means

Easiest way would prob be a high temp paint.
I've always thought a Jet Hot ceramic coated pipe would be cool, but it's expensive. I had them do my headers, crossover pipe, and downpipe for my car and it was about $500 for their Sterling coating. It's not chrome/mirror by any means but a shiny silver more like a mild polished aluminum. Guessing $100-200 range for them to do a scoot exhaust.

THat's expensive.
I guess I'll just do what Ryan does, which is WD40 wipe on a rag every so often

For pipe cleaning,I use "Naval Jelly"(phosphoric acid) and a scotchbrite pad, rinse in hot water and dry, warm up pipe, then apply 3 coats of 'Mop-N-Glo' floor polish(yep you read that right!).Works Great!!
