My OKO was way off for my setup and I had no jets to swap. The stock carb worked great for me for many miles so I just went with it.
Flat slides at least are supposed to be good carbs. I was happy with my first Dell and just stuck with them. That's all.

Yea I just ordered a pack of 10 different size jets. 105 all the way to 80 something. My OKO is the one with the power jet but I want to use this feature because it may help... The powerjet allows me run a smaller jet so I can be stoich in the low to mid range AND still not worry about running lean while running WOT for minutes at a time.
On the flip side I have been thinking about switching to an OKO 19mm. Its smaller and better matches my BBK, theres no powerjet and probably easier to tune. Plus it will work with the intake manifold, throttle cable, and air intake I have that was made to accomodate Keihin/PWK/OKO carburetors.
The water in the filter is not an issue because I never ride in the rain. This is Cali life.

I *suspect* the power jet would help, and actually be somewhat beneficial, if you (and I) had the displacement (125cc or larger), and a manual transmission. As it is, it just adds a variable, that can make tuning a bit of a nightmare. Most, with small displacement scooters, plug the damn thing.
Pissing uncontrolled amounts of fuel, at seemingly random times, is not a "tune-able" situation. In theory a power jet should work great, but under the conditions we operate under they are no more than a PITA.

my experienced with some OKO carbs tell that they like litle bit lower fuel level in the bowl, with normal level it will sputtering at 1/8 throttle. If bog happen at 1/2-3/4 throttle, you can check your needle clip position. Find the best needle clip position before start jetting. Carb is not plug and play mate. Or you can read scootrs.com first, it is very clear and helpful about jetting.

Its not at random times. Its near full throttle. I think its a neat feature and i will try my best to utilize it. I will not just quite before I even try to tune it. There are others in the past who have used 24 okos with great success on thier under 100cc scoot. If they can do it than i can do it. Maybe you will get fustrated and give up but i shall not throw in the towel that easily.. May i ask. How much time did you spend on your oko?

Bogging near full throttle? I think incorrect main jet size, too lean? Usually I spend 2 days for jetting but if i am lucky one day is enough. OKO and Keihin PWK carb are easier to tune than KOSO. 24 OKO for under 100cc engine is still ok for me but would be better keep air filter on for better result.
