I have a Aldy silver fox i dont know all the specifics, but i was wondering are there little tricks i can do to pull more power out of it. When it takes off the motor tends to dog out a little and it doesnt run like it used to. Im not looking to spend a lot of money but i can spend some.

Read up there are tons of mods. For the cheaper ones you might start with lighter rollers for a little more pep. How many miles? It could be yours have began to wear.

If it once ran well and now doesn't, I'd first start with inspecting the CVT and perhaps doing a compression test. It could be that the rollers have flat spots or the CVT is dirty and gunked up or the engine has an issue and so on.

Check your belt width and thickness while u are in the cvt.cover. Gotta agree with 90GTVert, sounds like a slight/slow loss of compression. You can get a piston kit with a new piston, rings, wrist pin and bearings fairly cheap. Dont uyforget to hone your cylinder too if you go this route. Check compression first. You can find baseline figures here for yourengine. Also, cleaning your carb may be a good idea, as well aschanging the filter.

PFS , RacingPlanetUSA, and some of our members sell parts. At 4500 miles I'd definitely be going through the CVT and cleaning it.
