Another nice ride this evening after a difficult day of work. Perfect weather tonight. I have been riding the blue Kymco ZX lately cause it is the only scooter I have running ATM. Glad to have it but I have decided that I like it only half as much as my Naked ZX. I gotta get the motor for the naked ZX back together, soon. I can relate. Don't work anymore, but, some days, like today, can still be kinda tough. Nothing like a nice ride to put me in a better frame of mind. Rode for about 30 minutes. Great riding weather.

It's contagious. Another family member wants a scoot. Just picked up this mint 15 year old Piaggio Typhoon 50. Time for a sport build to get it up to speed. I probably won't do this on this build, but does anyone know of any larger front and back wheels (12 or 13 inch) that are direct swaps for the 10 inch that will fit onto the Typhoon without any rework (or very little).

Man! That is a clean scoot! Very, very nice.

I fixed the vacuum line on the beast then went for a 25 mile ride around the throbbing metropolis. Was awesome.

Headlight went out on Stella, so I replaced it with a new one. Old bulb shows signs of a burn coil inside, so the new bulb should work just fine right? Wrong! All the wires look healthy, no burnt wires or frayed wires. I did just re-align my handlebars so I'm hoping I didn't cut any wires but we'll find out tonight...

Found the short... One little strand of the purple (+ lead) wire was frayed from the bolt pinching it causing a short to the frame. Cleaned that up, tucked some wires here n there and her headlight is bright! A few days ago the choke cable broke leaving me to pull the lever right out. 😒 I did a temporary relocation...

Rode about 30 miles today. Was awesome. FYI I was able to fit a 2 liter bottle of dew, a 4 pack of saltine crackers,an onion, and a big hersheys bar under the seat. Also realized the hardest button to button could relate to clothing not an electronic component. Im about as smart as a bag of warm piss sometimes.
