That double liquid cooling is very effective. Cool to see you taking some longer rides.

Today I was going to put the grippy tyres on the split rims back on Violet. Removed the nuts from the tubless rims I had with the winter tyres on and the wheel was stuck firm, twatted the tyre with a big persuading stick ( hammer) stick would not shift. Nuts back on wheel can wait for another day now. Then went to do son's which has stood in all weathers for about 8 months and not been started with car battery, jump leads and easy start. Squirted that in airfilter and spun it over not even a pop. Threw battery leads and easy start under seat and that can wait till another day. Then took out the rat scooter for a spin. All is good

Fitted a new breather for the gear box. Why is it the easy five minute jobs involve taking the exhaust, and rear wheel off? Then changed some jets. And some more ect, ect, ect.

What is that structure fuzzyruttin in your pic I can't work it out Good question, I don't know what it is either! There were a lot of grain silos and such back in the day of the Erie Canal. As soon as the railroad and vehicle systems made a foothold, Syracuse pretty much lost its retirement egg. This thing is a forgone artifact. Funny you ask though, because that's exactly what I was thinking when I took the shot. Now I'll have to look it up some day that I'm bored!

Today while ordering ukele heads for my mate on his bad wifi connection from his neighbour I borrowed his tools and repurposed as recycling is now called in hipster land a piece of plastic I found on the floor of the garage which either fell off a kids bike or my old yamaha xt and put put it on the rat scooter. Must make it go at least 20mph faster

What is that structure fuzzyruttin in your pic I can't work it out Looks like a grain elevator to me... place where farmers bring their grain to weigh, sell, store, then it is shipped off to buyers. Usually near railroad tracks.

A post by fuzzyruttin and a question by milly and talk of grain silos was my inspiration. A 40 some mile round trip to Chelsea, home of Jiffy Mix. Sounded like a good excuse for a nice, late afternoon ride.

Next stop, before home, grocery store. Too hot to use the kitchen oven. Outside to the grill. Worked perfectly. Is there a better 50 cent muffin mix? I think not.

Tried to ride out to get a scoot tag , got stuck under a underpass waiting for storm to pass, chickened out & went home into the Air conditioning. . That was my yesterday. Took the Grandvista to visit Mom and brothers. Good weather when I left home, but rain before the return trip. Had to make 2 detours due to flooded roads. My helmet and jacket are dry, now, but the shoes will take another day to dry out.

Set out on blue Kymco at 7:30 this evening, wearing my new helmet. 15 minutes out I got a call for service on an AC so back to scootopia to pick up the van.
