Assembled most of the bike today. I need a few ods and ends but shes 90% 12-inch rear wheel? Tire size is /70 sidewall, why does it look to have such low profile? I like.

12x6 140/70. Theres a substantial lip on that rim. Same tire size I'm running, but 7" rim - could not find a narrower wheel. 1 inch sure looks to make a big difference. Big lip too, that must be "fun" to mount!

See i looked for a long time for a 7inch rim but i couldn’t find one with the offset i wanted, lol. it was very “fun” so “fun” infact that i never want to do it again.

When my gas shock gets here, itll be at its proper height. i want it raised an inch or two. Id like the ankle biter to sit level with the ground.

Finally put the license plate light on as recommended by 'Officer Friendly', who kindly let me go with a warning. Just a cheap $8.00 LED Walmart special, but it works. Wired it up to the old stock speedo light plug so it turns on with the key.

My speedometer broke on me today while i was riding, and i dont know why Most likely the cable. Check it is connected at both ends. Some like to unscrew themselves. If that checks out, undo the Speedo end. And spin the wheel. The inner cable should turn. If you pinch it lightly between your fingers, there should be a turning motion if it's not snapped.

I replaced my old worn out Naraku drive face on Scootie. Felt some slipping off the line and if you look close there is a "lip" near the center; not to mention the words worn so much. I popped a stock face back on and the belt rides a tad higher in the clutch at idle (snappier take off) and so far no loss off speed. Only drove the 1.5 miles back to work from home on my lunch break so I still need to get a top speed run in. Need to swap my engine mounts before that as the bushings are toast...

Is that spiral groove there by design?

Is that spiral groove there by design? Yup! But don't ask me what it's for, the spiral direction pulls in while it spins... I thought at first it was to help expel heat and dust, but by design it would be pulling it towards the bushing. Maybe just that little bit actually does pull a little heat away. IDK, it's the fastest drive face I've used for the 139QMB platform, I'll be purchasing another.
