where do you get specs on what the oil levels should be in these little forks? Pulled my forks apart to clean and replace oil. Added a few washers of preload and when with 15wt this time. Note to self stay out of the salt water at the beach. upload hoster ru photoI found these listed online in the Yamaha manual at 75cc capacity, no actual level in mm. This time I went with a little more at 85cc to see how that does.

Yeah, tell my wife that! I'll tell yours, you tell mine. Strangers on a Train style.... Can one or both of you tell my wife and daughters they might listen then or give me grief being as they all round. Thinking about it both granddaughter's too. Reds heads the lot of them and temper's to match. Even 3yr old Alicia. Sage who is 13 is a bit quieter as she likes riding and going on the back of the scooter as well.

Against a gang of red headed Welsh fire brands? I'm out.

I fixed Sonja's first clutch cable. Must be stock as the cable has a removable cable end in the lever that my other Stella either didn't have or it's what I felt hit me when the first cable snapped on her. I felt the clutch "loosen" as I rode to work, limped home during lunch and pedalled back on my bicycle. Nice being 1.6 miles away! Tried looking in past all the factory grease and saw a little fraying: Got home and pulled the cable, found the weird end and what looks to be a road style bicycle brake cable (button head): New cable in with a thin layer of grease and boy oh boy does this lever feel buttery now. Shifting feels SO much better!

Shaved off 1mm (big valve head). Will give better compression for the flat head piston (50mm).

Think about how it works, when you pull the lever it's pushing the throw out plate on the clutch - pushing the entire load laterally against the crank. The big bearing behind the flywheel is taking that entire load and at least on my machines I heard the bearing stressing. Definitely louder when the engine is cold.

I measured the port roof distances on the ported cylinder I bought from Ryan. Measured out to 19.4mm exh, 30.5mm trans, and 31.79 on the boost

Scooter was bogging out a bit. Thought it was the plug. On inspection the plug was ok. Have the carb a clean, but it looked fine too. Took the air box apart. Filter was soaking wet. Like I had ran it under a tap! I do ride in some horrendously wet conditions. Time to seal the air box I guess.

Rode the two-stroke a little over 100 miles. Some guy walked out of business as I was passing slow in town and started smiling and laughing, saying "look at that thing". Then made some sort of noise as I popped the front wheel up a few inches. Not sure if he thought I was a doofus or actually liked the scoot, but I definitely put a smile on his face.
Went out on a highway section in one of the larger towns that I visit and attracted some attention from other traffic. Some people aren't sure what to make of a scoot (or whatever they think T2 is) buzzing along with them on a three lane roadway. ...Or maybe they noticed how bad the front end shakes at speed with nothing to balance the wheel/tire. Really gotta put that Ride-On in there.

Wish I had never touched it! Earlier in the week my centre stand snapped. Ordered one from EBay. Fitted it today. First time putting it up, the mounting broke off the engine! Also the stand is an inch too short. Rocks about on its wheels. When I measured the position of the spring mount. It's 10mm lower. That extra tension is probably what broke the mount.

Do you have a side stand?
