hello all. today my friend richard called me. he said his scooter wheel was falling off over 50 miles from home. he pushed it to a shop, and they jury rigged it with this nut setup. my scoot dont have the second strut the axle goes thru, so i dont know what bearing was originally there or if its even bolted together correctly. seems like that giant nut they put there could just spin right off. ( i assume its a design flaw, which is why the original one came off. lol) any help in sourcing the correct parts is greatly appreciated. and local part#'s would be phenominal. EG. yamaha honda etc. thanks alot guys!

Anything left of bearing to get a # from it? Or measure id& od & width to match up somewhere.? Gotta keep an eye on bolts etc. Time to time for looseness. Loctite is a scooterists friend. Check with scrappy or scoot places for a replacement? Make sure that shaft isn't all bogarted up too.

no bearing left... old one is on the road somewhere. i assume there is supposed to be a bearing, then a washer then a nut. i need to know what bearing to get, preferably with a part#.... scooter is a TAOTAO 50.
thanks again guys. glad im not the only one sortof stumped. lol

the swing arms i have seen have 2 bearings pressed together, mostly the VIPs have bearing issues that i have worked on.

I see two 6203Z bearings mentioned for a swingarm. Not sure if that's correct, but you can check to see if it should work. The 6203Z should be 17x40x12 so you can see if the swingarm is 40mm ID and could take two 12mm thick bearings and also if the axle is basically 17mm.

scrappy dog under GY6 150cc 157QMJ parts if it is a 150, he doesn't carry 50cc swing arms. i thought it was under common parts, my mistake.

you may have to use a file or emery on the shaft where the swing arm goes on, it gets rough at the end where it won't slide over, you will know if it is very hard to get the swing arm off.
