Hi I have a QM50QT-3E which have a few running problems. I got it without any documentation (manuals). I simply started, to look over the engine and got the carburetor off. Wow - How does this system work? I have a oil reservoir and a fuel tank. The Oil goes into a oil pump and this pumps it into the cylinder, right? Dies the carb mixes the fuel/oil itself?! * The Oil-pump has 2 outputs. One of the hoses ends up in a T-piece and goes into the right and left cylinder hole. The second output goes into a middle-positioned input between the two other inputs. This middle one seems to be closed, I cant get Air in (tried to cleaned after pulling it off). Is that right? * Which oil does this engine need? * Which fuel does the engine need? Normal 95 octane without any 2T-Oil?* The carburetor has an electrical part, it regulates anything... what? * What is the part near the CDI (yellow cable in and yellow cable out - it is labeled with 5/18 JW14) * I've found a single cable, which is not connected to anything (see attached). What is it for? I did not found any connector in that area. * Does anybody have a .pdf with a manual and/or service manual? Many thanks in advance I hope I can get that damn thing back to life EDIT: Okay, solved a few things: * The engine has a seperate oil-mixing system - nice thing, I never had something like that before (Simson S51 needed already mixed fuel ) * Fuel type: normal fuel The other things are not solved, I hope someone can say something to that Attachments:

Welcome to the forum. You can follow the line to see where oil goes, but usually it's either introduced into the incoming air at the carb or intake. Sounds like maybe yours goes into the cases? As long as the oil injection system is functional you don't need to add oil to the gas. You can use oil injection approved 2T oils. Some are pre-mix only, some injection only, some are fine for either. I prefer synthetic 2T oil. Just keep the tank reservoir full of good oil and it should do the rest. Electrical component on a carburetor usually is an automatic enricher. It allows addition fuel in until it warms up (by electricity) and then it shuts off the enriching fuel supply. Trace that yellow wire back as far as you can or start trying to find other components with a yellow wire. I'm not sure if you'll find a manual specific to your model, but perhaps one for the engine. I ahve some manuals at the link below. Not sur eif your engine may be similar to what's in a TGB. You could check that out and see if it looks like what you've got at all. www.49ccscoot.com/manuals/manuals.html

Hi, thanks for your answer! The engine is a H1E41QMB. I've found nothing useful yet. Updates: * The electrical part is, in fact, an enricher (choke). * The part near the CDI (two yellow wire's) is a sensor. It seems connected to the enricher. It is a bimetal sensor which will control the enricher (on/off). Well, it is dead. I'll need a few tech specs about that part. I cannot find any replacement. Technical data would be enough The single cable is still not checked, I'll check that later. Reagrds
