I have a 49cc vento that I just recently bought. It ran great for about a week but the other day I drove about 20 miles and it wouldn't start up again. My battery is fine and I'm getting spark. What I noticed is that my fuel filter isn't filling. I took it off and tried starting it and gas came pouring out, but when I put it back on, nothing. The filter isn't dirty or anything either. I also tried spraying it with starter fluid and that didn't help either.
I went out the next morning and it started with a little trouble, but after driving a few miles it started to stall and lose acceleration. I'm honestly not sure what the problem could be. Maybe a vacuum problem?

You may want to pull the carb and clean it. Take the jets out and spray with carb cleaner and compressed air. You can replace the fuel filter they're cheap enough and can be found at a lawn mower type shop. Make sure the spark plug boot isn't getting loose when it gets hot. Pretty common, I've changed a couple. Welcome aboard!
